Custom 3D Modeling for Real-World Applications

Not everyone has a 3D file ready to print. Maybe you have a sketch on paper, a broken part that needs recreation, or just an idea in your head. That's where our 3D modeling services come in.

We design functional 3D models optimized for FDM 3D printing -- not just pretty renders, but files that actually print well and work in the real world. Our designs follow design-for-manufacturing (DFM) principles from the start.

✓ What We Design

  • Mechanical parts, brackets, and fixtures
  • Product enclosures and housings
  • Replacement parts -- redesign from photos and measurements
  • Prototype development from concept to file
  • Custom products and unique items

Our Design Process

1

Brief

Tell us what you need: send sketches, photos, measurements, or just describe it. Whatever you have works.

2

Quote

We estimate design time and cost based on complexity. No surprises -- you approve before we start.

3

Draft

We create an initial 3D model and share renders for your review. See it before it's printed.

4

Revise

You provide feedback; we refine the design. Two revision rounds are included in standard quotes.

5

Deliver

You receive the final STL/STEP file, ready for printing. The file is yours to use freely.

Designed for 3D Printing

Our models aren't just pretty -- they're printable. We apply design-for-manufacturing (DFM) principles:

Wall Thickness

Minimum walls calculated for structural integrity based on material and use case.

Overhang Optimization

Angles designed to minimize supports, reducing print time and post-processing.

Tolerances

Proper clearances for moving parts, assemblies, and mating components.

Print Orientation

Models designed for optimal layer orientation and strength direction.

Pricing

Design fees depend on complexity. Most projects fall into these ranges:

Simple Parts

AED 150-300

Brackets, basic shapes, simple modifications

Standard Projects

AED 300-600

Enclosures, multi-part designs, moderate complexity

Complex Assemblies

AED 600+

Full products, mechanisms, engineering projects

Exact pricing provided after reviewing your requirements. No obligation.

3D Modeling FAQ

How long does a custom design take?

Simple parts: 1-2 days. Complex assemblies: 3-5 days. We'll give you a timeline with the quote.

What do I need to provide?

Whatever you have: hand sketches, photos, rough measurements, reference images, or a written description. We work with what you can provide.

Do I own the design?

Yes. Once paid, you own the 3D model and can use it freely for printing, manufacturing, or further development.

Can you modify an existing STL?

Sometimes. STL files are mesh-based and can be difficult to edit. It's often faster to recreate in CAD. We'll advise on the best approach.

Do you design for other manufacturing methods?

We optimize for FDM 3D printing by default. If you need files for CNC or injection molding, let us know -- we can adjust the design approach.

What file formats do you deliver?

STL for printing, STEP for further editing. Other formats available on request.
