Raw PLA is generally food-safe, but 3D printed objects have layer lines that can harbor bacteria. We recommend using food-safe coatings for items that contact food.
PLA is rigid and moderately strong but can be brittle. For functional parts requiring flexibility or impact resistance, consider ABS, PETG, or TPU instead.
PLA can degrade in direct sunlight and heat above 60°C. For outdoor applications, we recommend ASA or UV-resistant materials.
PLA prints start from AED 50 depending on size and complexity. It's our most affordable material option.
